Staunton, VA - November 21, 2008 - IncisionTech announces the addition of new capabilities designed to improve the performance of disposable devices for OEMs. As a Tier 1 supplier of critical cutting, piercing, and delivery systems to the most sophisticated medical device OEMs, IncisionTech is focused exclusively on improving device performance. This focus on performance improvement was the inspiration for the recent installation of new leading edge capabilities:
- Next Generation CNC Laser Welding Capability - pulsed rod laser with 150 watts of power - featuring a wide variety of innovations and unique technological characteristics, including:
- Micro-weld technology - uses smallest weld spot diameters for finest applications
- Dual beam technology - the capability to weld on opposite sides of a part at the same time
- Double-closed loop power control - Pulse to pulse stability of less than 1% yields better joints and less variation part-to-part
- New Insert Molding Capability - 60 ton press with a two station rotary table configuration that is optimized for the manual or automated insert molding of sharps
The addition of these capabilities rounds out the most diverse platform of edge generation and point technologies available on the market..
